Our Services

The work is carried out by qualified and experienced occupational health practitioners, both doctors and nurses. Prior to providing services to our clients, it is preferable that we meet with key personnel and assess the working environment in order to be better placed to advise on work related health issues. This ensures that whatever advice is given related to your specific situation and is tailored to your particular working environment.

Absence Management

Appropriate management of staff with health problems often involves balancing the needs of the individual with the needs of the business. It is often helpful to have a specialist occupational health opinion to assist management deal with absence from work attributed to illness.

  • A full report is provided after each consultation. The report covers the employee’s condition, answers the questions posed in the referral form and any other issues the OH specialist believes would be helpful in managing the case.
  • We advise on appropriate rehabilitation, phased returns or redeployment if applicable.
  • Where appropriate we advise on the occupational health aspects of Health & Safety and Disability Discrimination legislation

Pre-employment Assessments

  • Health questionnaires are completed to establish previous and current medical issues and the relevant health assessments are carried out. These tests may include hearing, lung function and sight testing.
  • We can also provide drug and alcohol testing if required.
  • The candidate is provided with relevant, up to date health advice.
  • We provide a letter to advise you of the outcome of the assessment. We also provide advice as to whether any adjustments are needed under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

Health Surveillance of At Risk Groups

Having established your company’s health surveillance requirements, we can carry out health surveillance assessments. This may include for example hearing, lung function and eye-sight tests.
