Pre-employment assessments

Pre-employment health assessments carried out appropriate to job and to ensure employees have the appropriate level of fitness to perform effectively in their jobs, with no risk to either themselves or others.  This includes assessment of past and present medical conditions, any current medication and history of previous employment.  Examination by the occupational health advisor will include height, weight, BMI, pulse and blood pressure measurements.  Additional assessments can be added as per job specification to include Lung Function, Audiometric, Vision screening (including colour vision) Urine Drug and Alcohol Analysis, Musculo-skeletal, Skin, Hand Arm Vibration, Mobile plant and Night work assessments.  A written report will indicate Fitness for post, adjustments required and any advise given to the client.

Pre-employment health quesionnaires can be completed and screened by our nursing advisors to ensure you employ staff with the appropraite level of fitness to perform effectively in their jobs.
