About us

Blackwell Associates Limited is one of the longest established independent providers of Occupational Health support for employers in Northern Ireland. With over twenty years experience we have helped some of the Province's best known businesses reap the benefits of increased productivity and employee moral through effective occupational healthcare provision.  Whilst our main focus remains health screening and fitness assessments, we believe a proactive approach to promote and maintain a healthy workforce is equally important.

What is Occupational Health?

Occupational Health is a branch of medicine dealing with the relationship between work and health, whose main goal is to prevent work related ill health.  Advice is given regarding what workplace adjustments may be needed to ensure employees can continue to work safely and remain in employment, while helping the employer comply with current disability legislation.

We can also carry out health surveillance and pre-employment medicals.  Health surveillance is often required for employees potentially exposed to a range of hazards.  Pre-employment medicals are carried out to assess if an individual is fit for a specific job role.
