Pilots
Dr Black is a qualified Aeromedical Examiner (AME) and has specialist aviation medicine training. He is certificated by the CAA to carry out aircrew and Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) medical examinations and to give aviation medicine advice, as necessary.
He can carry out both types of certification namely:
• ‘1’ rated AMEs – can undertake Class 1, 2, 3 and LAPL revalidation / renewal and initial Class 2 and LAPL medical assessments;
• ‘2’ rated AMEs – can undertake Class 2 and LAPL initial/revalidation/renewal medical certificates

Cabin Crew
Cabin crew medicals can be carried out by our approved Aero Medical Examiner (AME) to ensure that cabin crew members are free from any physical or mental illness which might lead to incapacitation or an inability to perform their assigned safety duties and responsibilities.
