Pre-Employment Health Assessments
Pre-employment health assessments are available across Northern Ireland.
Pre-employment / pre-placement screening enables provision of timely advice on workplace adjustments where appropriate and risk-based advice on medical suitability for work. The identification of workplace adjustments to the work environment / working practices enables a worker to fulfil their role whilst at the same time protecting them and others against any risks arising from their work. In being provided with such advice, employers are helped in ensuring that they fulfil their obligations under both disability discrimination and health & safety legislation.

Pre-Employment Health Assessments
Pre-Employment Health Assessments are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the position. We ensure employees have the appropriate level of fitness to perform effectively in their job role, with no risk to either themselves or others.
The assessment can cover:

Additional Assessments
Additional assessments can be added as per job specification and can include:
- Lung function testing (spirometry)
- Hearing testing (audiometry)
- Vision screening (including colour vision)
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Musculoskeletal and skin screening
- Hand Arm Vibration assessment
- Mobile plant and night work assessments
A written report is produced on the basis of this assessment. This covers the individual's fitness for the post, adjustments if required and any client advice if applicable.
