Oil & Gas / Offshore Energies medicals

Dr R Black is a Registered Examining Doctor with Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) and is therefore certified to undertake standard Oil and Gas UK / offshore worker medicals.

The minimum requirements of the standard Oil and Gas UK / offshore worker medical are typically:

•    photographic identification from the examinee
•    a comprehensive medical, social and occupational history
•    audiometry
•    urinalysis
•    visual acuity
•    measurement of body mass index (BMI)
•    appropriate clinical examination
•   further investigations (eg blood tests, Electrocardiograph (ECG), spirometry) may be required to clarify clinical findings but are not a routine requirement, 

As well as standard Oil and Gas UK / offshore worker medicals, the following are also available upon request:
•    Fitness to train medicals for in-water Compressed Air Emergency Breathing Systems (Category A EBS)
•    Medicals regarding Fitness to participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties
•    Drug and alcohol testing.
